On October 19, 2018, the “Caravan Info Sessions” has ended, through which more than 800 farmers from the country were informed about the advantages of joining agricultural cooperatives, as well as for the possibilities for support that are offered by the project.
The info sessions were organized by MEDF and CARE, and in cooperation with the Regional units of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy and the Regional Centers of the Agency for Promotion of Agricultural Development.

Representatives of successful examples of agricultural cooperatives from the region (Croatia, Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina) shared their experiences and best practices in the info-sessions, whereby the present farmers were able to make direct contact and to get informed about the different types of co-operation in the region.

The project team informed the farmers and participants of the info sessions, about the support that the project offers through the announced calls for expression of interest for forming agricultural cooperatives, and the fact that all farmers and groups of agricultural holdings that have interest in forming agricultural cooperatives, can still apply.
The deadline for applying for the open call No.3 / ZAM / 2018 for expressing interest for establishing agricultural cooperatives is 12.11.2018 at 4 PM. (available at: https://zadrugi.mk/povici-oglasi/povik-za-prijavuvanje-interes-za-formiranje-na-zemjodelski-zadrugi/).
The Info-sessions were held in the period from July to October 2018 at different places around the country: Kavadarci, v. Tsarev Dvor, p. Dolno Lakocarej, Tetovo, Gostivar, Bitola, Prilep, Cheshinovo, Radovish, Rosoman, Chashka, v. Stajkovci, v. Rankovce, Kriva Palanka, v. Rezanovce, v. Lisichani, v. Blatec, Pehcevo, v. Piperovo and v. Stojakovo.
