On July 2, 2021, in Veles was held a training on topic: Use of pesticides and safety at work in agriculture intended for agricultural cooperatives that are financially supported within the project “Support to development of agricultural cooperatives”.
At the training, 12 representatives from 7 agricultural cooperatives have the opportunity to be informed about accidents at work in agriculture, to find out the statistics from the annual reports, as well as to be informed about the legal framework of safety and health in the agricultural sector and reduction tools the risks of the workplace in agriculture. At the same time, at the training, the attendees increased their knowledge in the field of pesticide use. Are they a real need or just a useful tool, what is the legal framework for the application of pesticides and safety measures, as well as what are the new directions in plant protection.
The training is part of the technical support intended for agricultural cooperatives within the project.
